Welcome stroke.png

Where your child’s star potential gets the standing ovation it deserves (and you get three blissful hours to yourself every Saturday).

Let’s be honest — kids are dramatic.
So why not put that to good use?

Wicked Academy is your new Saturday solution: a professionally-run, fun-filled, confidence-boosting performing arts school for 6 to 17-year-olds in Tunbridge Wells, brought to you by the team behind Wicked Productions (yes, the ones who do those gloriously over-the-top pantos).

Hannah Kiss.jpeg

ALL ABOARD FOR SOMETHING VERY SPECIAL!

We are beyond excited to announce that Hannah Kiss, from the original London cast of Starlight Express, will be joining us at Wicked Academy on 27th June for an incredible Starlight Express workshop!

Hannah is so excited to be bringing along her skates for this one-of-a-kind session, and she can’t wait to meet our students as they step into the fast-paced, high-energy world of Starlight Express!

We run two sessions every Saturday during term time, so whether you’re an early bird or prefer a lie-in, we’ve got you covered:

Morning show – 11am to 2pm
Afternoon matinee – 3pm to 6pm

📍 Both sessions take place at Rose Hill School, Tunbridge Wells, United Kingdom, TN4 9SY

Each 3-hour session is broken into three fabulous classes (with a break for snacks, of course). Expect drama, singing, dancing, and a whole lot of laughter. Here’s how the running order goes:

• 15 mins: Warm-up & drama games (aka “controlled chaos”)
• 3 x 45 min classes rotating between Drama, Dance, and Singing
• 20 min break with a tuck shop (or bring your own snack — no judgement)

The Cast List:

Age Groups

We don’t do boring age brackets here. At Wicked Academy, your child becomes part of their very own showbiz squad:

Curtain Raisers (6–9) – Big imaginations, little legs
Spotlights (10–12) – Pre-teens ready for the limelight
Showstoppers (13–17) – Teen triple threats in training

Here’s the honest bit — quality training isn’t free, but we’ve made it super simple and good value:

• £24 per week (that’s just £8 per hour), spread over 12 months

• £68 per month, direct debit, no fuss

• Got more than one mini musical star? 25% sibling discount applies!

• Sibling rate: £51/month

PHANTOM CREST.png

Each year, our students are sorted into one of four unique houses. Throughout the term, they can earn House Points for demonstrating outstanding performance, teamwork, creativity, dedication, and positive attitude.

At the end of the year, the house with the most points will be crowned champions and awarded the coveted Wicked Academy House Cup!

Four Houses. One Legendary Competition.

Because Wicked Academy has a love for all things theatrical with a touch of magic and mystery, our houses are inspired by some of musical theatre’s most iconic dark and thrilling productions.

The Phantom of the Opera House

Inspired by the world-famous musical, Phantom House is mysterious, passionate, and full of theatrical flair.

The Addams Family House

Dark, twisted, and wonderfully eccentric, Addams House is for students who embrace their individuality.

Jekyll & Hyde House

Bold, ambitious, and powerful, Hyde House celebrates determination and fearless creativity.

Beetlejuice

House

Fun, quirky, and delightfully chaotic, Beetle House is perfect for those who love to stand out from the crowd.

Which House Will You Join?

When you become part of the cast at Wicked Academy, you’ll be sorted into one of these four incredible houses. From your very first class, you’ll have the chance to earn points and help your house climb to the top of the leaderboard.

Will your house be the one to lift the Wicked Academy House Cup?

Join Wicked Academy and discover where you belong!

Even More Wicked Stuff

There’s more to Wicked Academy than weekly classes — we’re all about unforgettable experiences that spark creativity and build confidence beyond the studio. From star-studded workshops to epic summer musicals, our students get a taste of real showbiz magic all year round.

Showcase Performance

Each term we’ll bring in industry pros from the West End, TV and film to teach everything from clowning and puppetry to TV acting and pantomime slapstick.

After Term 1, students will be sorted into houses (Hogwarts-style, but with more jazz hands). They’ll earn points all year long to win the ultimate honour: The Wicked Academy Cup at the summer finale.

Musical Theater Classes

Each year we’ll stage a professionally lit and mic’d theatre showcase to show off your child’s progress — and give you a reason to cry happy tears in the audience.

In the theatre

Summer Musical

In the summer holidays, we go BIG. A 10-day production workshop ending in a full-on staged musical, costumes and all. It’s optional, but let’s be honest — your kid won’t want to miss it.

Theatre Trips & Perks

Discounted theatre trips? Check.
Exclusive dress rehearsal invites to Wicked Productions’ pantos? You bet.
VIP access to the world of professional theatre? Only at Wicked Academy.

Uniforms
(or lack thereof)

We’re chill. No compulsory uniforms here. Just make sure your child can move, groove, and do a decent jazz split (optional).

That said, we do have some awesome Wicked Academy t-shirts if you fancy repping our colours! Hoodies (and a few other cosy bits) are on the way soon.

To make things extra special, the very first batch of t-shirts comes stamped with “Original Cast” — a limited edition for our trailblazers.

Thinking of Leaving?

We get it — life happens. If your child wants to hang up their jazz shoes, we’ll be heartbroken, but fair. Just give us a month’s notice, and we’ll part as friends (and maybe cry a little backstage).
